JioStar Lines Up Four Major Sponsors for Pro Kabaddi League Season 12

JioStar, the official broadcaster of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), has brought on four big-name sponsors for the league’s 12th season, which kicks off on August 29, 2025, in Visakhapatnam.

The sponsors include Shriram Finance Limited (banking and finance), UltraTech Cement (infrastructure), Birla Tilestix (tile adhesive), and Red Bull (energy drink). More brands are expected to join before the season starts, showing just how popular PKL has become as India’s second-biggest sports league.

Last season, PKL Season 11 drew over 283 million viewers on TV and online, with 140 million from Hindi-speaking regions alone, outshining many top reality and talent shows. Fans tuned in for an average of 64% of each match, proving the league’s ability to keep viewers hooked.

For Season 12, JioStar is stepping things up with a fresh format, better storytelling, more ways for fans to get involved, and coverage across over 10 TV channels and seven language feeds on JioHotstar.

A JioStar representative said,  “PKL has built a loyal and growing viewership, making it one of India’s most followed sporting leagues. Season 12, timed ahead of the festive season, offers brands high-impact visibility and engagement with premium audiences.” The league’s mix of TV, online, and in-person events makes it a powerful platform for sponsors to reach audiences.

The season opens with an exciting matchup between Telugu Titans and Tamil Thalaivas, promising high-energy action. JioStar’s promotional campaign, featuring stars like Rana Daggubati and Tiger Shroff, captures the league’s bold vibe with the slogan “Ghus Kar Maarenge” (We’ll Strike Hard).
