Sunny Cooking Oil's Ganesh Chaturthi Film Celebrates Food, Family, and Festivity

As the people of India celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, Sunny Cooking oil has started an endearing campaign that beautifully captures the spirit of the festival through food, family and tradition.

Written and directed by AlphaX, the three-minute short film titled Letter Bappa contributes an emotionally moving excerpt of the spirit of the festival, through the lens of a young girl, drawing on togetherness brought about by the shared meal.

The movie traces the girl on her way back home to her village, which is filled with celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi, musical rituals, jokes, and food. From kitchen preparation to collaboration in the making of elaborate family meals, food is shown as the means to bridge the generations.

The narrative reaches its climax when the girl composes a soulful message to Lord Ganesha or Bappa, and it touches a cord with the audience.

Produced by AlphaX, the film aligns with Sunny Cooking Oil’s tagline, “Life Aapki, Recipe Aapki,” positioning the brand as an integral part of festive and everyday meals. By showcasing how its oil transforms simple ingredients into cherished memories, the campaign reinforces Sunny’s role in Indian households.
