The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film, Akaza Sairai, has taken Japan by storm, becoming the fastest movie to earn 10 billion yen in just eight days, outdoing its predecessor, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train.

According to Aniplex, the film, which hit theaters on July 18, sold over 9.1 million tickets and pulled in 12.87 billion yen (roughly $87.1 million) in its first 10 days.
