Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc Trilogy Part 1 to Hit Theatres Later this Year

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc's part 1 will hit movie theaters worldwide across 2025. The end of the Hashira Training Arc in June 2024 led fans to an expectant wait for the next part of Tanjiro Kamado's saga which draws closer to its final release. During the CCXP24 Brazil event Crunchyroll joined Sony Pictures Entertainment to announce the first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc film, which will appear globally in 2025 while delivering an epic cinematic display of Ufotable's renowned breathtaking animation characters.

The Infinity Castle Arc marks the fundamental last chapters of Demon Slayer by adapting the epic main narrative arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s all-time best-selling manga series. Inside Muzan Kibutsuji's treacherous domain the Demon Slayer Corps experiences their first encounters with the Upper Rank demons as various Hashira lead the fights. The trilogy format designation marks the forthcoming release instead of standard TV seasons because it allows larger storytelling dimensions along with superior production standards for intensive narrative delivery. On July 18, 2025, the first Demon Slayer movie will release theatrically for Japan before international showtimes are confirmed to match the worldwide fanbase reception.

At CCXP24 an initial teaser revealed a taste of the film through creepy shots of Infinity Castle while showing potential clashes between powerful characters. Voice actors Takahiro Sakurai (Giyu Tomioka) and Kengo Kawanishi (Muichiro Tokito) together with Brazilian Portuguese voice actor Daniel Figueira increased fan excitement by bringing viewers the teaser trailer at CCXP24. The trilogy is directed by Haruo Sotozaki from Ufotable studios with plans to match the illustrious visual achievements of the blockbuster Demon Slayer: The Movie – Mugen Train that achieved worldwide success surpassing 473 million USD sales for the top anime film of all time.

The Infinity Castle Arc begins immediately after Muzan launched his attack on Ubuyashiki estate and teleported Hashira along with Tanjiro and his allies to his interdimensional fortress. The upcoming first film focuses on the castle battles which reveal both large-scale battles and deep emotional elements when the Demon slayers encounter their greatest enemies until now. The movie features Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro) and Akari Kito (Nezuko) along with Hashira voice actors who create a harmonious combination of established heroics and greater weighty thematic elements from the narrative.

This initial film serves as the opening entry of the Infinity Castle Arc trilogy which will establish the mood for a remarkable series finale before its big-screen debut during the upcoming year.
