OPPO India's "Live the Aawara Life": Spontaneity in the Spotlight 

With the Reno14 Series, Oppo India has managed to encapsulate the youthful adventure with Live the Aawara Life, which was released in July 2025. The campaign starred Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter, and Pooja Hegde and promoted unscripted moments, friendship and exploration.

The name-drop of his "Aawara Gang" by Ranbir Kapoor gave the tune a playful atmosphere, complete with a reimagined version of the Aawara Hoon anthem.  

The idea made the Reno14 an extension of the user in their journeys, with a 50MP AI camera, 3.5x Telephoto lens, 4K HDR video, and IP68/IP69 design to take spontaneous shots. Some of the messages were calling to live in the moment, make otherwise normal journeys be remembered as epic tales, and reconnect to forgotten dreams. 

Developed by Famous Innovations, it was aimed at the Gen Z explorers of the 130 million potential users of OPPO Reno worldwide.

An Instagram reel by Pooja Hegde, rolled out on digital, cinemas, and OTT platform, gave buzz a boost. There were personal reflections by celebrities: Chaturvedi on emotional freedom, Khatter on the magic of spontaneity and Hegde on the honesty of nostalgia. 

The effects were an increased engagement and sales of the Reno14 brand, with social media commentaries praising its colorful power. By redefining Aawara as bold exploration, it was unique in showing how tech ads could be more emotional than focused on the specifications.
