Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL), branded as 'Z', has recorded its highest network share in nearly eight years, achieving a 20% share in the 15+ India Urban category during Week 24 of 2026. The milestone was driven by strong performance across its entertainment channels and the rapid growth of its newly launched Unite8 Sports network during the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026.

The company said the achievement reflects robust audience engagement across both television and digital platforms, strengthening its position as a leading destination for entertainment and sports content in India.

FIFA World Cup Drives Sports Viewership

The network's growth has been supported by live match broadcasts, regional language commentary, expert analysis, and football-focused programming, helping Unite8 Sports 2 become the leading English sports channel in the country during the tournament.

ZEEL also reported that its sports portfolio has achieved an omni-platform reach of more than 300 million viewers across its linear television channels, streaming platform ZEE5, and social media platforms since June 1, 2026. The company's linear sports portfolio also recorded a 17% higher live reach compared to the FIFA World Cup 2022 during the corresponding period.
