Smartphone brand vivo has announced a new visual storytelling project in collaboration with National Geographic Creative Works, focused on documenting India’s landscapes and wildlife through the lens of the newly launched vivo X300 Series.

The initiative, titled “Go Into The Wild,” brings together a National Geographic Explorer, photographers, and creators who will travel across forests, mountains, deserts, and coastal regions, relying solely on the vivo X300 Series to capture scenes from the natural world.

The project aims to highlight how the devices handle varied environments and demanding shooting conditions while producing high-quality images.

The X300 Series, comprising the vivo X300 and vivo X300 Pro, is built with ZEISS optics and imaging features suited for outdoor photography. The vivo X300 features a 200MP ZEISS main camera, Landscape Master mode, and the vivo Portrait Engine, delivering detailed rendering, colour accuracy, and solid low-light output.

  • vivo partners with National Geographic for ‘Go Into The Wild’ to showcase X300 Series photography power
  • New vivo X300 and X300 Pro feature ZEISS optics and advanced wildlife-focused imaging capabilities
  • Project documents India’s diverse landscapes using only the vivo X300 Series to highlight real-world performance

The vivo X300 Pro introduces a 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto camera with India’s first Telephoto Bird Shots feature, along with an optional ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit that supports up to 8.5x optical zoom—a setup designed for long-range wildlife photography and distant subjects.

Geetaj Channana, head of corporate strategy at vivo India, said the partnership reinforces the brand’s focus on supporting creators and nature storytellers with equipment capable of handling real-world conditions. He added that the project aligns with vivo’s broader effort to engage with photography communities and show what mobile photography can achieve outdoors.
