Vivo V60 Hits India Tomorrow: What to Expect from This New Smartphone

Vivo is about to unveil its new smartphone Vivo V60 5G in India on the 12 th of August time 12 PM IST.

With fantastic features, sleek looks and price that will likely open the wallets to the tune of Rs. 37,000-Rs. 40,000, this new mid-range phone is getting all the buzz.

Vivo V60 will be available in three colours: Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey and Moonlit Blue, the latter having a cool sea-wave textured effect in the back. You can pick it up on Flipkart, Amazon or the Vivo web store itself.

The phone packs a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, making everything from scrolling to gaming look smooth and vibrant. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, which Vivo says is 27% faster for regular tasks, 30% better for graphics, and 25% more efficient for gaming compared to the last model.

It runs on Funtouch OS 15 (based on Android 15) and comes with smart AI features like Gemini Live, AI Captions, a Smart Call Assistant, and AI Magic Move for creative edits.

Camera fans will love the Zeiss-tuned triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP main sensor (with stabilization), a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Selfies are covered by a sharp 50MP front camera. You’ll also get cool camera tricks like Zeiss Multifocal Portrait and a 10X Stage Telephoto for zooming in without losing detail.

The Vivo V60 has a huge 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, so it’ll last all day and recharge quickly. It’s tough too, with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, plus a plastic frame, dual stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
