Sony Pictures Networks India Appoints Amit Mehta as CHRO
Sony Pictures Networks India has appointed Amit Mehta as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), with the appointment taking effect from October 1, 2026. Mehta will succeed Manu Wadhwa and become part of the company’s Senior Management Team.
The leadership transition comes as Sony Pictures Networks India continues to strengthen its organisational and human resources strategy. Mehta will take charge of the company’s HR function following Wadhwa’s transition from the CHRO role.

Manu Wadhwa to Transition From CHRO Role
Amit Mehta will take over from Manu Wadhwa, who is transitioning from her position as Chief Human Resources Officer. Earlier reports indicated that Wadhwa would move into a Strategy Advisor role at Sony Pictures Networks India.
The change forms part of a broader leadership transition at the media and entertainment company.
