McDowell’s Soda Launches Yaaron Wali Baat 2.0 with Kartik Aaryan

House of McDowell Soda has collaborated with Team Spirit of Publicis Groupe India to roll out its new campaign, Yaaron Wali Baat 2.0, a festival of friendship, or Yaari.

The campaign is called Karo Kuch Pehli Baar Jab Saath Hon Yaar (Do Something New When Friends are Around), and it reflects the happiness of the first moments spent with friends and friends- that become years of stories shared. With Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan as its brand ambassador, it will position McDowell, Soda as the dynamite that unites friends and memories.

The central part of the campaign is a light hearted, catchy video in which Kartik urges a wary friend to do something he has never dared to do before, and how friends support each other.

Through humor and vitality, the movie satirically reenergizes historic achievements such as landing on the moon or building social media as times that were fueled by friendship. It is a friendly reminder that that when you have friends, nothing is impossible.

Kartik Aaryan, who’s been with the brand for years, said, “This campaign is special because it’s about how friends push you to be your best and create memories that last. That’s what Yaari means to me, and why I love being part of this.”
