Instamart Remixes Bolo Taara Ra Ra for a Festive Christmas Campaign

Instamart has launched a new Christmas campaign that reworks the iconic 1990s track Bolo Taara Ra Ra to highlight its quick-commerce proposition during the festive season.

The digital film uses a refreshed version of the Daler Mehndi song to reinforce Instamart’s promise of delivering Christmas essentials within 10 minutes, positioning convenience at the centre of celebrations.

The campaign has officially licensed the original track and adapted it with new lyrics and a festive arrangement.

The film follows a child who imagines himself as a Christmas star, with the music driving a series of connected moments across different parts of India.

The revised refrain, “Taara Ra Ra, Ghar Ghar Aa Ra Ra,” acts as a unifying hook, linking households and communities through the shared rhythm of the song.

Locations such as Kerala, Kolkata, Goa, and urban neighbourhoods feature prominently, underlining the brand’s effort to present Christmas as a festival embraced across regions rather than a limited occasion. The visual storytelling places everyday people at the centre, focusing on family, anticipation, and collective joy.

According to Instamart’s brand leadership, the idea behind the advertising campaign was to interpret a global festival through a distinctly Indian cultural lens. The film suggests that festive moments should not be disrupted by last-minute shopping, positioning Swiggy Instamart as an enabler that manages logistics while consumers focus on celebrations. The emphasis remains on fast delivery, availability, and reliability.
