G-SHOCK, the tough-as-nails watch brand from Casio, just dropped its awesome new campaign, Rise Above the Shocks, with Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal as its face. Launched on June 18, this campaign is all about celebrating the bold, no-fear attitude of Gen Z, which totally vibes with G-SHOCK’s rugged and stylish reputation. The campaign was brought to life by Method Productions, with producer Ravneet Mahajan and director John Fredrick Peter, and it’s showing off the DW-5000R—a fresh spin on the classic G-SHOCK with a square face, resin build, and serious street style.

Takuto Kimura, the head of Casio India, shared why this campaign rocks: “Rise Above the Shocks is about hyping up a generation that’s real, confident, and doesn’t back down. G-SHOCK is all about that energy, and Vicky Kaushal brings the kind of genuine, gritty vibe that young people love.”  It’s all about how today’s youth tackle challenges with swagger, just like G-SHOCK’s never-give-up spirit.

Vicky Kaushal, who’s won hearts in films like Chhaava and Masaan, is super pumped to be on board.“There’s something powerful about staying true to yourself and pushing through tough moments. G-SHOCK’s got that same vibe, and I’m stoked to rep a brand that’s all about resilience,” he said. Fans are losing it on X, with folks like VickySupremacy and Bollyhungama gushing over Vicky’s action-star energy and begging for him to do a full-on action movie.
