Google Unveils Pixel 10 Lineup with Focus on AI, Display, and Battery
Google is set to launch its Pixel 10 series on August 20, 2025, with sales likely starting by August 28. The lineup includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, bringing solid upgrades powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, built on a 3nm process for better performance. Leaks have given us a sneak peek into what these phones will offer, especially for the Indian market.
The Pixel 10 comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED flat screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL step it up with 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch LTPO OLED displays, respectively, offering adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz and a bright 3,000 nits peak. Both Pro models use tough Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The Tensor G5 chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, keeps things fast, with storage options from 128GB for the Pixel 10 Pro to 1TB for the Pro models, while the Pro XL starts at 256GB.

In India, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to cost around ₹1,39,990, reflecting its premium status. The design stays familiar, but the phones will run Android 16 and pack new AI features powered by Google Gemini. However, some might miss WiFi 7 or a better cooling system.
Google’s Pixel 10 series looks to strengthen its place in the high-end smartphone market, though the small updates might make some wonder if it’s worth upgrading.
