The Emmys 2026 winners were announced at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on September 14. Led by Mariska Hargitay, the ceremony was broadcast live on NBC and live streamed on Peacock in the United States and recognized the best in the television industry this year.
Some of the categories had been announced at two earlier Creative Arts Emmy ceremonies this month. At the end of the show, there were big acting, drama, comedy, limited series, reality and variety awards.
Among the notable highlights, Jean Smart secured another acting honour for Hacks, while The Pitt and Widow’s Bay also featured prominently among the winners.

When and Where to Watch Emmys 2026 in India?
The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards took place live in the United States on NBC with about 20 million people watching in person and 50 million more watching online via Peacock on September 14. The ceremony was broadcast and Indians could watch it in the early hours of September 15 as the time difference.
The event was also streamed live online in India on JioHotstar, while the main event will commence at 5:30 am IST and the red carpet coverage will begin at 4:30 am IST.
