Delhi Government Declares Farhan Akhtar's 120 Bahadur Tax-Free
The Delhi government has declared 120 Bahadur tax-free across the national capital, a decision announced on November 28 by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
The move recognizes the bravery and sacrifice of the 120 soldiers of the Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought in the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
In a post on X, Gupta described the film as a tribute to their courage, leadership, and sacrifice.
Released on November 21, 2025, 120 Bahadur features Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, the commanding officer who led the stand against overwhelming odds.
The film also stars Raashii Khanna, Vivan Bhatena, and Ankit Siwach. It is produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios and aims to bring a significant chapter of India’s military history to the mainstream audience.

With the tax-free status now active, ticket prices in Delhi have reduced. A prime-row seat earlier priced at ₹410 now costs approximately ₹347.46, while a classic-row ticket has dropped to around ₹305.08. The price change is expected to make the film more accessible to a wider audience.
120 Bahadur collected around ₹15 crore net in its first week across India. The tax waiver is expected to help improve footfall and momentum in the coming days, especially in metropolitan and tier-II regions where ticket pricing influences turnout.
