Comic Con India to Debut Kochi Edition in February 2026
Comic Con India is set to expand its presence with the launch of its first-ever Kochi Comic Con, scheduled for February 28 and March 1, 2026, at AICC Angamaly in Ernakulam. The event marks a significant addition to the Comic Con India calendar, which has grown to include major cities across the country since 2011.
Presented by Maruti Suzuki Arena and powered by Crunchyroll, the Kochi edition will bring together comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, and creative communities.
Tickets for the event are now available exclusively on the District by Zomato app. Organisers expect strong participation given Kerala’s long-standing comic readership and expanding interest in pop culture events.
According to Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming, Kochi’s mix of traditional comic culture and active fan groups made the city a natural choice for expansion. He noted that fans from Kerala have consistently attended Comic Con events in other states, and a local edition allows them access to the full experience without travelling.
