NODWIN Gaming Acquires StarLadder for $5.5M to Boost Esports

The subsidiary of Nazara Technologies, NODWIN Gaming, has bought a fully acquired esports tournament organizer called StarLadder at an acquisition value of USD5.5 million. According to the reports, this is part of the overall strategy for NODWIN to enhance its presence around the world in gaming and live entertainment. The company will continue to work under the present brand name and the co-founder Roman Romantsov will head the company along with becoming the shareholder in NODWIN Gaming.

NODWIN is ramping up international expansion through a series of acquisitions, including Comic Con India, influencer network Trinity Gaming, and esports marketing agency Freaks 4U Gaming. The company will inherit two decades of experience in running high-profile events such as CS:GO and Dota 2 Majors by StarLadder. This acquisition should help StarLadder enter the new markets while strengthening its footing in the business and aligns with NODWIN's initiatives to scale premium esports content in the global front.
