Citroen India Launches Shift Into The New Campaign with MS Dhoni

Citroen India has launched its new campaign, Shift Into The New, with cricket legend MS Dhoni as the face of the brand.

The French carmaker, part of the Stellantis group, is working to move beyond being seen as just another foreign name. Instead, it wants to feel closer to everyday Indian drivers.

The campaign is all about showing how Citroën combines smart design, comfort, and performance in a way that fits modern India.

"With Shift Into The New, we set out to redefine what it means to drive a Citroën in India," says Kumar Priyesh, Business Head at Stellantis India. "Every detail, from the interiors to the technology, has been designed to elevate the experience, making each drive more comfortable and enjoyable. This reflects our commitment to innovation and a distinctly modern Indian perspective."

Created by the agency alterType, the campaign is running on TV, online, and social media. It focuses on three SUV models with simple, catchy taglines that feel Indian: the C3X with All Ways On, the Basalt X with Thrill bhi. Style bhi., and the Aircross X with Har Moment Ka Boss. Each tells a story of control, fun, and confidence.

Siddharth Loyal, Co-founder and Managing Director of alterType, elaborated: "Shift into the New isn’t just a campaign; it’s a way of communicating who Citroën is today. We crafted something that goes beyond billboards—confident, contemporary, and distinctly human—connecting with drivers in engaging, purposeful ways at every touchpoint."
