Bingo! Potato Chips Poke Fun at Themselves in New Ad Campaign

Bingo!, the popular potato chip brand from ITC, just launched a funny new campaign that makes fun of its own snacks.

Called “Bingo! The Not-So-Perfect Potato Chips,” the ads show chips breaking at the wrong moment, leaving greasy marks, or disappearing too fast because they’re so tasty.

Instead of pretending to be perfect, Bingo! leans into the mess. One TV ad shows a guy on a date—right when he goes for a chip, it crumbles all over the table, and everyone laughs. The message? Real snacks aren’t flawless, and that’s okay.

The campaign was created by Ogilvy India and is running on TV, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Bingo! is also asking fans to share their own funny chip fails using #BingoSelfRoast for a chance to win prizes. So far, the hashtag is blowing up online.

Siddharth Sriram, head of marketing at Bingo!, said, “People are tired of perfect ads. We wanted to keep it real—our chips might make a mess, but they taste great.”

The classic flavors—Masala, Salted, and a new Peri Peri—are back with brighter packs. You can grab a small pack for ₹10 or ₹20 at any store. In a market full of fancy snacks, Bingo! is betting that a little humor will win hearts—and crunch time.
