Asian Paints Revives 'Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai' for Modern Homes
Asian Paints has reintroduced its popular “Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai” campaign with a new and contemporary twist in which it glorifies the individual stories that are told by each home.
The new campaign, which was launched today, characterizes the heart of the contemporary Indian families and their homes are the mirror of lives, eccentricities and aspirations of the Indian people residing in it.
The tagline of the campaign “Har ghar chup-chaap se yeh kehta hai, ki andar iske rehta hai”, continues to resonate; we are reminded that it is personal touches of the inhabitants that make the house a home whether it was a splash of paint or a memory in the living room.
However, this time the campaign seems more up-to-date, displaying homes as vibrant places where innovation and connectedness are alive.

The best part is a TV commercial that was developed by Ogilvy India, and it is 90 seconds long, narrating eight brief, poignant stories. One of them has a young couple who have a funny paint accident on their wall as a sweet memory. A young food vlogger takes over the family kitchen, and his grandma is the largest fan of the chosen one. A foreign guest is invited to the home of an old couple and their living room becomes a friendly encounter between cultures. And a dog lover proudly provides his dog with the family name, loving him in every small detail.
These stories, narrated with warmth and a touch of humor, feel real and relatable. “Homes have always had stories to tell, but now they’re sparking new kinds of conversations,” says Piyush Pandey, Chief Advisor at Ogilvy India. “This campaign captures the spirit of today’s families with honesty and heart.”
