Apollo Tyres Ltd, one of the most renowned tyre manufacturers in the world, has jointly declared its three-year business association with the Manchester united football club by extending its business relationship with the club as the official Global Tyre Partner. This affirmative partnership that commenced in 2018 demonstrates Apollo Tyres keenness to identify with the values of excellence, innovation, and engagement of fans worldwide that were shared by the club.

The collaboration has played a significant role in increasing brand equity of Apollo Tyres through the global penetration of Manchester United to create visibility and sentiment. Neeraj Kanwar, the Vice-Chairman and the Managing Director of Apollo tyres Ltd, was keen on the ongoing relationship as he said, “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Manchester United, a club that embodies passion, performance, and global reach. Since 2018, Apollo Tyres has used this opportunity to reach out to millions of football lovers all over the world through innovative campaigns and programs such as the United We Play grassroots football India initiative. Introduced to its fifth edition in 2025 when the Manchester United players Harry Maguire, Andre Onana and Diogo Dalot were its brand representatives, the program helps young footballers develop employing stage to present their best skills and training techniques all around the globe.

In 2020 the partnership has also been extended to Apollo Vredestein (tyres), who feature prominently on the pitch-side advertising boards when Manchester United play at home. This exposure has enhanced the penetration of Apollo in the market especially in Europe and India. Omar Berrada, Manchester United representative, indicated the win-win situation, saying, the renewed partnership would add outstanding value on and off the pitch and reach out to avid fans across the globe.
