Xiaomi India Reveals New Redmi Logo Alongside Redmi 15
Xiaomi India has unveiled a fresh look for its Redmi brand, introducing a striking new logo with bold, all-uppercase text in a vibrant red shade.
This rebranding kicks off with the launch of the Redmi 15 5G on August 19, 2025, as Xiaomi marks its 11th year in India since entering the smartphone market in 2014.
The Redmi 15 5G, the first phone to sport the new logo, is designed to appeal to India’s tech-savvy crowd.
It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor and runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0, featuring smart tools like Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
The phone boasts a 6.9-inch screen with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, a massive 7,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Its camera setup includes a 50-megapixel dual rear system and an 8-megapixel front camera, optimized for great photos even in low light. Available in Frosted White, Midnight Black, and Sandy Purple, it will be sold on Amazon, Mi.com, and Xiaomi’s retail stores.
Sudhin Mathur, Xiaomi India’s Chief Operating Officer, said the new logo reflects the energy of “Young India—bold yet grounded, ambitious yet self-aware.” Redmi has sold over 220 million devices in India, contributing to Xiaomi’s global total of 1.1 billion handsets. The company hit a $1 billion revenue mark just two years after its 2014 debut.

This launch is part of Xiaomi’s bigger plans, with the Redmi Note 14 series expected in December and the premium Xiaomi 15 series set for March 2025. The updated branding and new device highlight Xiaomi’s focus on innovation and staying connected with Indian consumers.
