WFI and IOA will Offer Wrestlers Aiming for the Olympics Substantial Support
The national Olympic committee and WFI have also granted top grappler Vinesh Phogat's request for increased training funds, and the Indian Olympic Association would provide "extensive support" to the six wrestlers who will compete at the Olympics.
Six Indian grapplers have qualified for the Paris tournament: Aman Sehrawat (57kg) in the men's division, Vinesh Phogat (50kg), Antim Panghal (53kg), Anshu Malik (57kg), Nisha Dahiya (68kg), and Reetika Hooda (76kg) in the women's division.
The exercise's purpose is to ensure the wrestlers' best potential performance, according to a statement issued by IOA President PT Usha on Monday.
"By offering a large support crew, we seek to guarantee that our wrestlers have access to the greatest resources, allowing them to perform at their top.
"This decision is consistent with our commitment to creating an environment in which athletes can thrive," said Usha.

Sanjay Singh, president of the Wrestling Federation of India, has declared that Asian Games gold medalist Vinesh would receive additional support personnel for her preparation in Paris.
"We will ensure that Vinesh and all our wrestlers receive the necessary support to excel and keep India's flag flying," he stated.
"This effort is part of the IOA and WFI's greater objective to consistently enhance training, preparation, and overall support systems for all Indian athletes. The objective is to establish a long-term model of excellence that would catapult Indians to higher heights on the world stage," the IOA statement continued.
