Virat Kohli's Lengthy Social Media Post Makes Fans Confused

By Media Infotainment Team | Wednesday, 20 November 2024

Virat Kohli gave 'a mini heart attack' to his fans on Tuesday by sharing a lengthy post on social media, just two days before the much-expected Border-Gavaskar Trophy. While Kohli wrote a heart touching note of celebrating a decade journey with his men's clothing brand, the opening lines left fans speculating.

Many fans observed that, in a previous post also, Kohli had used a similar post template on social media when announcing important personal and career updates, including the decision to retire from Test captaincy in 2022. Notably, they were grateful to find that the post had nothing related to cricketing career and was instead about his brand.

Here's the post that had fans guessing on Tuesday.

Looking back, we've always been a bit different.

We never fitted into any box they tried putting us in.

Two misfits, who just clicked.

We've changed over the years, but always done things our way.

Some called us crazy; others didn't get it.

But honestly? We didn't care.

We were busy figuring out who we are.

Ten years of ups and downs, and even the pandemic couldn't shake us.

If anything, it reminded us a being different is our strength.

So here's to ten years of doing it our way a the Wrogn way.

Here's to being Wrogn.

And here's to the next ten!

Wrogn: For the right kind of man.

Virat Kohli's fans requested him not to post with a 'white background and black font'. One of the Kohli fans said she thought of five different scenarios while reading the first few lines.

As expected, Virat Kohli has been a focal point. In an unequaled move, a group of Australian newspapers released a special issue featuring Kohli on the cover, highlighting the enormous popularity of the former India captain. Though he is no longer India's skipper, promotional campaigns in Australia have positioned Kohli as the face of the visiting team.

Despite his recent dip in form, Kohli can draw confidence from his impressive record in Australia, where he has accumulated 1,353 runs, including six centuries, in 13 matches at an average of 54. He also had great memories of Optus Stadium, having scored a century there in 2018 during India's last visit to the venue.
