Ultra Media & Entertainment Group has enlarged its OTT offerings by introducing two fresh brands, Ultra Play and Ultra Gane, to its customers. The company will invest laboriously in its direct-to-consumer business over the next five years.

Ultra Play will focus on telecasting classic Hindi movies which are an inventory of more than 2,000 Indian classic movies that span from the 1950s to the 2000s. Further still, this platform will also be featuring movies with stars such as Guru Dutt, Dev Anand, and Rajesh Khanna.

Ultra Gaane, an online music video platform, will have a database with more than 4,000 songs starting from the second half of the 20th century until the beginning of the 1990s, and it will also be open to new opportunities and individual musician performances.

Besides their loyal Marathi OTT platform, the Ultra Group of Jhakaas-Rajneeti-Entertainment will now run three distinct OTT platforms. A small amount received from the Internet protocol will be the cause of many happy customers. Each of these subscription-based platforms will be available for Rs 199 per year or Rs 99 for three months. I hope our precious money is playing its rightful role.

In conjunction with that, COO & Managing Director of Ultra Media & Entertainment Group, Rajat Agrawal, said, "We plan to invest a whopping Rs 500 crore in our OTT projects over the next 5 years, with 75% earmarked for Ultra Play and Ultra Gaane and the rest 25% to Ultra Jhakaas.

"At first, all three platforms will be invested in by us through a sum of Rs 30 crores, with investment increment every year being part of the deal," said Agrawal.

Currently, the company does not have any plans for seeking extra funding and might though could view it sometime in the future if needed.
