Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc Announced at AnimeJapan 2025

At AnimeJapan 2025 fans received the announcement for the upcoming Tokyo Revengers anime arc named Tokyo Revengers: Santen Sensō-hen (War of the Three Titans). The announcement emerged at a special anime adaptation anniversary event to mark its fifth year. During the event fans worldwide received news about both the title and updated cast information and a fresh teaser visual presentation.

Maki Kodaira who is famous for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will take over LIDEN FILMS as the director for an upcoming arc of the anime production. Previous seasons director Koichi Hatsumi joins in overseeing the scripts of the anime series. The animation team welcomes Airi Tsuyuki and Kae Takakura as character designers to work alongside Keiko Ōta and Kenichi Ōnuki who returned to the team. Yoshitomo Hara will partner with Hideki Fukushima for bike design and props alongside Kōji Ietaka who has recently taken over compositing director of photography roles. LIDEN FILMS has responsibility for creating the 3D computer graphic content.

The art directors Yasuyuki Mutō and Rumi Matsumoto reunited together with staff members Kunio Tsujita for color key art, Satoki Iida as sound director, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi as music composer.

The announcement comes after Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc achieved success as Disney+ including all territories except Mainland China aired it globally. From its original release in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from March 2017 to November 2022 the manga written by Ken Wakui transformed into a major cultural hit. The manga has maintained its widespread success as the Tokyo Revengers Extra spinoff series explores the background of the Tokyo Manji Gang founders.

The anime premiered its initial season during April 2021 and the Christmas Showdown arc released in January 2023. Fans of the Tokyo Revengers series should look forward to upcoming content packed with dramatic tension from the War of the Three Titans arc which will expand the global popularity of the series.
