The New York Knicks Wins in the Game 3 of NBA Playoffs
The New York Knicks had a fantastic win in game 3 of the NBA playoffs with a score of 118-116 and a 2-1 lead against the Detroit Pistons. This game was held on Wednesday in the Little Caesars Arena crowd. This particular game series is being called one of the most powerful series in the first seven-round playoff series of the NBA.
Cade Cunningham, who stole the spotlight in the previous Game 2, didn’t hit the mark in this game. But with his score of 24 points on a 10 for 25 shooting, the New York Knicks did get a lead in the game. Another player, Tim Hardaway Jr. also contributed hugely to the team's win by scoring 24 for the team. Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby. Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges all scored 20 points, leading the Knicks team in the game.
New York Knicks team’s Jalen Brunson and Karl Anthony Towns bought the majority of points for the team. The duo added 30-31 points to the scoreboard for their team. The Knicks team would have been tied with the Pistons if not for Brunson and Towns' points. With 108-105, the Pistons were able to catch up to the Knicks, but Brunson scored back-to-back layups within 90 seconds. Towns made up for the shortcomings of Cade Cunningham’s layup attempts by marking the first of Brunson’s layups.
Tobias Harris was not playing well in the first two games of the NBA playoff series and has finally been making scores on the board. His involvement in game 3 did make the Pistons have a deficit of 104-101 with a 4:41 time.
Game 4 of the NBA playoff series will be held between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder on 27 April in FedExForum.
