Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have headlined the internet with their engagement announcement. Swift posted a cute Instagram picture of the two having some photos and a cunning caption: Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.

She shared a photo of her beautiful custom diamond ring and fans went nuts. According to Meta, it also received 1 million reposts within half a day, becoming the most reposted piece of content on Instagram in the entire history of the platform, and attracted over 29 million likes, one of the biggest viral moments in Instagram history.

The proposal happened about two weeks earlier in a private garden in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, as shared by Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce.

He told, “Travis took her out for a glass of wine, and that’s when he popped the question. They started FaceTiming family right after to share the news. It was so special.” Swift, wearing a chic striped Ralph Lauren silk dress, was clearly over the moon, and the couple’s excitement lit up their inner circle.
