Sportz Interactive Launches AI-Created Anthems for Pro Kabaddi Teams

Sportz Interactive, a market leader in sports technology and fan engagement, has unveiled another innovative project with the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12 which has been launched on 29 August, 2025.

The company has deployed AI-composed anthems on all 12 PKL teams, which are meant to reflect the spirit of each team and more closely resonate with fans.

Through their own AI-driven platform, Sportz Playground, Sportz Interactive created these anthems by exploiting the history of the team, local culture, and fan feelings.

What comes out is a collection of songs that are intimate and true. The Bengal Warriorz have been given a high-energy rap song titled Tashan Toofani, full of kabaddi spirit, whereas the anthem of the Haryana Steelers, Hum Hai Haryana Steelers has a strong Haryanvi feel to it that matches the spirit of the team.

This project, done in partnership with JioStar, the PKL’s official broadcaster, aims to make the league experience more exciting. “These anthems are more than music; they’re a celebration of kabaddi’s raw energy and the fans’ passion,” said Siddharth Raman, CEO of Sportz Interactive. “Our AI-driven approach ensures every anthem feels authentic, connecting teams with their fanbases in a modern, meaningful way.”

Fans can listen to the anthems on JioHotstar and Star Sports Network, which now offer PKL coverage in eight languages, including new Haryanvi and Bhojpuri options to reach more viewers, especially in northern India. Social media campaigns tied to the anthems also let fans interact with their favorite teams in fun, new ways.

This isn’t Sportz Interactive’s first leap into AI. After their 2025 Hackathon showcased creative fan engagement tools, this anthem project shows how they’re pushing the boundaries of sports entertainment. As PKL Season 12 heats up, these AI-crafted anthems are set to pump up crowds and bring fans closer to the heart-pounding action of kabaddi.
