Sony Sports Wins Broadcast Rights for PCB's Home Cricket Series & PSL 2025

Sony Sports Network makes its ongoing provision of live cricketing action to the Indian subcontinent audiences by acquiring the television broadcasting rights for PCB's home cricket series and for the 2025 Pakistan Super League. The rights are exclusive in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Myanmar but are non-exclusive in Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. These TV rights include broadcasting for all home bilateral series, a tri-nation tournament, and 34 PSL matches to be played in 2025 in addition to archival content.

The Sony Sports Network keeps embellishing its cricket broadcasting elaborately with the rights for major governing bodies like New Zealand Cricket, ECB, Sri Lanka Cricket, ACC, and now further enhancing its extensive coverage with the addition of PCB rights.

The deal starts with the recent tri-nation ODI series featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. In addition to this series, the following tournaments will also be broadcast on Sony Sports Network:

Pakistan Super League (April - May) – 34 matches Pakistan vs. Bangladesh (May) – 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is Pakistan vs. Afghanistan (August) – 3 T20Is Pakistan vs. Ireland (September) – 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is Pakistan vs. South Africa (October) – 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 3 T20Is Pakistan vs. Sri Lanka (November) – 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is

Through this deal, we also have access to great archival content that includes Pakistan vs India matches that we will also showcase on our network. The acquisition of the Pakistan Cricket Board rights along with New Zealand Cricket, England and Wales Cricket Board, Sri Lanka Cricket and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) positions us as the premier destination for cricket in India."
