Sony Sports Network Launches Dedicated Tamil and Telugu Sports Channels

Sony Sports Network, the ultimate sports destination in India, announced today the launch of two exclusive regional language sports channels Sony Sports Ten 4 Tamil, and Sony Sports Ten 4 Telugu.

This strategic step to further regionalize the network by providing a live show of sporting action combined with high-value programming in Tamil and Telugu to a specific audience in South India.

The launch is in line with the Sony Sports Network airing more personal and culturally relatable sports to the vernacular viewers. The development through Sony Sports Network is an extension to the already established multilingual programs such as English and Hindi which are aired via such channels as Sony Sports Ten 1, Ten 3, and Ten 5. To ensure good viewing experience, it will have well-known commentators including Hemang Badani and WV Raman (Tamil) and Venkatapathy Raju and Ravi Teja (Telugu) in the new channels.
