Ridhi Dogra finally breaks her silence on Pahalgam attack
The Bollywood actress Ridhi Dogra has spoken up against the terror attack in Phalagam, which happened on April 22, 2025. Through her social media handles, the actress has condemned the terror attacks, asking the good Muslims to step up and to reject the monsters by calling them out. Previously, the actress was seen promoting her film ‘Abir Gulaal,’ which has the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in the lead role. As the actress didn’t speak any words about the Pahalgam attack, the fans got enraged and questioned the silence of the actress for not standing up against the terror attack.
Thus, the actress made a post on her social media on April 22, stating her opinion about the incident. The actress posted, “I think it’s about time the good Muslims stepped up and rejected the monsters and CALLED THEM OUT! Break ties with people and places that remain silent or deep down have ties elsewhere. Because repeatedly terror is coming from one place. They’re ruining faith. Kashmir was flourishing, and the government did so much and had so many plans in place to make it good for business. But we all know who doesn’t want that. Very personal opinion, but it’s time to stop being gracious to monsters in the name of humanity. Stand up for India…” in her Instagram stories. The actress also tagged multiple posts that had talked about the incidents in her Instagram stories.
Ridhi Dogra has acted in the Hindi film Abir Gulaal, which has a cast of Vaani Kapoor and Soni Razdan. The film is said to be released on May 9, 2025. The actress had been seen in the movie promotion with the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who plays the male lead role in the film. After the Pahalgam attack, many of the Indian audience have called for a ban on the film. This has been backed up by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), which has supported this as it has declared that ‘there will be no release of Abir Gulaal in India.’ The federation further stated that there will be a ban on Pakistani actors, singers, and technicians in Indian films. The Indian filmmakers will be facing severe disciplinary action if these directives are violated.
