Nykaa and Snapchat Team Up to Boost Gen Z Beauty Creators

Nykaa, India’s top beauty platform, has joined forces with Snapchat to launch the Snap Star Beauty Incubator Program on October 17, 2025.

This exciting initiative aims to support young Gen Z creators who are shaking up the beauty world with fresh, authentic content that resonates with their peers.

The Nykaa X Redseer Beauty Trends Report 2025 shows that Gen Z is changing how beauty is discovered, moving away from celebrity-driven ads to real, community-focused stories.

They care about ingredients and genuine voices, and this program is designed to help them shine. Selected creators from across India will get mentorship, access to Snapchat’s creative tools, and Nykaa’s expertise in makeup, skincare, fragrances, and more.

They’ll also have a chance to attend Snap Schools, work with Snapchat’s creator teams, and potentially become official Snap Stars, joining the #NykaaSnapStarSquad for brand partnerships and cultural events.

A Nykaa spokesperson called the program a “launchpad for India’s next big beauty storytellers,” noting how Gen Z is driving trends and building movements. Snapchat’s Saket Jha Saurabh, head of Content & AR Partnerships, pointed out that Gen Z powers 44% of India’s $15-20 billion beauty market. “This program hands them the mic and camera,” he said, combining Nykaa’s beauty know-how with Snapchat’s creative platform.

This isn’t Nykaa’s first step in uplifting new talent. From hosting Nykaaland, India’s first beauty festival, to partnering with Yuvaa for campus collaborations, Nykaa is all about building spaces for creativity.
