Motorola has expanded its India portfolio with the launch of the Moto Watch smartwatch, alongside the premium Motorola Signature smartphone.

The move marks Motorola’s entry into a more focused wearables strategy while also reinforcing its presence in the flagship smartphone segment. Both products were showcased earlier at CES 2026 and are now set for commercial rollout in the Indian market.

The Moto Watch is positioned in the affordable smartwatch category and emphasizes fitness tracking, durability, and battery life. Developed with inputs from Finnish fitness brand Polar, the smartwatch offers continuous heart-rate monitoring, SpO₂ measurement, sleep and stress tracking, and recovery insights.

It features a 1.4-inch OLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Dual-frequency GPS support is included for accurate outdoor activity tracking.

Motorola claims the Moto Watch can deliver up to 13 days of battery life on a single charge under standard usage conditions, while users can expect around seven days with the always-on display enabled. The smartwatch will be available in six variants and is priced from around ₹5,999, making it competitive in India’s crowded smartwatch market.

The smartwatch launch coincides with the introduction of the Motorola Signature smartphone, which targets premium users.
