Mohanlal, SRK & Rani Mukerji Shine at National Film Awards 2025

The National Film Awards 2025 at Delhi became a special day when Bollywood movie stars Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, as well as Malayalam cinema icons Mohanlal, had a warm and joyful moment that none of the fans could forget.

The three, known to have made remarkable contributions to the Indian cinema, shook hands, hugged one another, and social media fans referred to their meeting as an iconic one.

Pictures shared widely on X showed Shah Rukh and Mohanlal giving each other a warm hug, with Rani smiling brightly nearby. In another photo, the two stars were seen chatting closely, clearly enjoying each other’s company.

Shah Rukh Khan also received the Best Actor award at the ceremony, which he shared with Vikrant Massey who played in the film 12th Fail, due to his gripping performance in Jawan which was directed by Atlee. Rani Mukerji won the Best Actress award in her emotional performance in the film, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway directed by Ashima Chibber. Mohanlal, a popular Indian actor, was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award due to his unbelievable career life of more than 40 years, of which he acted in most of the Malayalam movies, in addition to starring in other South Indian languages and Hindi movies.

The event took place on Tuesday and was full of cheers, emotional words of the fans, celebrities and friends in the industry.
