KRAFTON India Takes Over Real Cricket to Boost Local Gaming
KRAFTON India has taken over the publishing responsibilities for Real Cricket, one of the country’s most-played mobile cricket titles, marking a significant step in its plan to expand India-focused gaming operations. The change becomes effective immediately and follows KRAFTON’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Nautilus Mobile earlier this year.
With the publishing shift, Real Cricket enters a new phase where KRAFTON will oversee updates, feature rollouts, events, and live-ops management. The company aims to streamline development and publishing under one structure, enabling faster releases and more consistent support for the game’s large player base.
Upcoming updates introduce several gameplay and reward enhancements. The new “RC Pass” offers 30 days of challenges and unlockable rewards, while the “Real Rewards T20 Series” links player performance to leaderboards with redeemable benefits. These additions are intended to support long-term engagement and encourage competitive play.

KRAFTON and Nautilus are also bringing official licences from IPL teams, including Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings. The update introduces improved animations, refined lighting, upgraded character models, Hindi commentary and a redesigned interface, all aimed at delivering a smoother in-match experience.
KRAFTON India’s publishing leadership stated that the company views Real Cricket as a strong Indian gaming IP with long-term potential. The takeover is intended to strengthen community programs, refine tournaments in line with the cricket season, and expand operational support through additional live events and technical optimisation.
