In a thrilling development for comic book fans, Marvel and DC Comics are joining forces for a historic crossover event, marking their first collaboration in over two decades. Set to hit stores on September 17, 2025, Marvel/DC: Deadpool/Batman #1 will feature a main story by Zeb Wells and Greg Capullo. But the real treat for longtime readers is a backup story teaming up Daredevil and Green Arrow, written by fan-favorite Kevin Smith with art by Adam Kubert.

Smith, famous for his work on Marvel’s Daredevil (“Guardian Devil”) and DC’s Green Arrow (“Quiver”), is returning to these beloved characters. The story will bring together Matt Murdock, Hell’s Kitchen’s blind vigilante, and Oliver Queen, Star City’s sharp-shooting hero, in what’s sure to be a gripping, street-level adventure.

Fans on X are already raving, hyping up Smith’s knack for heartfelt storytelling and Kubert’s dynamic art, paired with a stunning variant cover by Marco Checchetto.
