Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Set for January 8, 2026 Crunchyroll Debut

Crunchyroll has confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 will premiere globally on January 8, 2026, bringing the long-awaited Culling Game arc to streaming audiences.

The announcement follows months of speculation and places the series among the most closely watched anime releases of the year.

Season 3 continues directly from the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident, one of the darkest and most consequential arcs in the series so far.

The story shifts into the Culling Game, a deadly ritual created by Kenjaku, designed to force jujutsu sorcerers and curse users into structured combat across multiple colonies in Japan.

Participation is mandatory, and the consequences of refusal are fatal, raising the stakes significantly for every character involved.

It also deepens existing character arcs, particularly around responsibility, sacrifice, and the cost of survival in a system designed to erase choice.
