Indian Railways Unveils RailOne: Your All-in-One Travel Buddy

By Media Infotainment Team | Wednesday, 02 July 2025

Indian Railways just made traveling easier with the launch of RailOne, a super app that brings all your train travel needs under one roof. Rolled out on July 1, 2025, by Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, this game-changing app is now available on both Android and iOS. Say goodbye to juggling multiple apps like IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS, or Rail Madad—RailOne has it all.

  • RailOne Super App Launched: Indian Railways Combines All Train Travel Services in One Platform
  • Book Tickets, Track Trains, and More with Indian Railways’ New RailOne App
  • RailOne App Revolutionizes Train Travel with Real-Time Tracking, R-Wallet, and Multi-Language Support

With RailOne, you can book reserved, unreserved, or platform tickets, check your PNR status, track trains in real time, and even order food for your journey. Need to know your coach position or book a porter? It’s got you covered. You can also arrange taxis or give feedback through Rail Madad, all from one app. Plus, it offers a 3% discount on unreserved and platform tickets, which is a nice bonus.

One of the coolest features is the Railway e-Wallet (R-Wallet). It lets you pay quickly and securely using biometric login or an mPIN—no more fumbling with passwords. The app supports several Indian languages, making it accessible to everyone, and includes special options for Divyangjan, students, and patients to ensure no one’s left out.

RailOne’s upgraded system is a beast, handling up to 150,000 ticket bookings and 4 million inquiries per minute. It’s designed to be super fast and reliable, fixing old issues like slow loading or OTP delays from the IRCTC app. While IRCTC Rail Connect still handles reserved ticket bookings, RailOne pulls in services like NTES and Food on Track for a smoother experience. You can log in with your existing IRCTC or UTS credentials, so there’s no need to start from scratch.
