Hayley Williams Surprises Fans with 17 New Singles

By Media Infotainment Team | Friday, 01 August 2025

Paramore’s lead singer, Hayley Williams, thrilled fans by dropping a collection of 17 new singles out of the blue. Earlier this week, she teased the tracks on her website, hayleywilliams.net, letting fans unlock them with a 16-digit code from her Good Dye Young hair dye brand. The songs disappeared after just 24 hours, leaving a note saying, “Thank you for listening.” Now, Williams has officially released them through her new project, Post Atlantic, partnered with Secretly Distribution.

These songs, all produced by Daniel James, show off Williams’ unique style, mixing pop, indie-rock, folk, and alt-rock. She wrote, recorded, and played several instruments herself, with help from friends like Brian Robert Jones, Joey Howard, and Jim-E Stack on the song “True Believer.” Standout tracks include “Mirtazapine,” a grungy tribute to mental health she first played at Newport Folk Festival, and “Discovery Channel,” which riffs on The Bloodhound Gang’s 1999 hit “The Bad Touch.” Other songs like “Kill Me,” “Glum,” and “Negative Self Talk” dig into raw, personal emotions, while “Ice in My OJ” reworks a chorus from her teenage years in 2004.

This release follows her solo albums Petals for Armor (2020) and Flowers for Vases / Descansos (2021), plus three EPs, showing how much she’s grown as an artist. The website drop came with extras like a 2017 Phoenix performance video, a lyric book picture, and a T-shirt saying “Hayley Williams is my favorite band.” Fans loved the nostalgic 2000s-style Windows desktop vibe of the site, which made the experience feel super personal.

The surprise drop comes as Paramore enjoys new freedom after leaving Atlantic Records in 2023. It’s unclear if these singles will become a full album, but Williams’ bold move has fans buzzing about what’s next. They’re crossing their fingers for a streaming release, as her latest work proves she’s still a fearless, game-changing artist.
