Gujarat Titans (GT) delivered a triumphant performance at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium to beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 58 runs and leave their fans thrilled during IPL 2025. GT climbed to the top of the table after securing their fourth consecutive victory.

Sanju Samson chose to start the innings by letting GT bat first which turned into a strong 217/6 run total during the 20 overs. Sai Sudharsan delivered an outstanding performance through his 82 runs from 53 balls while slugging eight fours followed by three sixes. Shubman Gill lost his wicket for 2 runs then Sudharsan maintained a consistent batting performance. Jos Buttler delivered 36 runs from his 25-ball innings and Shahrukh Khan scored 36 runs off his 20 balls. The match received its late run boost when Rahul Tewatia hit 24 runs off 12 deliveries while Rashid Khan managed to score 12 in 4 balls. Both RR's top bowlers tried their best but Jofra Archer (1/30) and Maheesh Theekshana (2/54) failed to keep GT's batting powerhouse from amassing the high total.

Chasing 218, RR got off to a shaky start with Yashasvi Jaiswal out for 6. Sanju Samson (41 off 28) and Shimron Hetmyer (52 off 32) fought back, but GT’s bowlers were on fire. Prasidh Krishna shone with 3/24, getting rid of key players like Archer and Hetmyer. Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore (2/20) and Rashid Khan (2 wickets) backed him up, bowling RR out for 159 in 19.2 overs.

This win showed just how strong GT are this season, with their batting lineup and tight bowling proving too much for RR. For Rajasthan, the defeat snapped a two-game winning streak, leaving them in seventh place. GT look like serious contenders for the playoffs, while RR will need to bounce back fast to keep their hopes alive in this tough competition.
