Google is Discontinuing its Desktop and Mobile Search Service

Google has updated its cemetery with yet another feature. The functionality in question is search results that are updated continuously. Google is discontinuing the social network feed-like continuous scroll from search results, according to a report from Search Engine Land.

For those who don't know, the function debuted in October 2021 on mobile devices before being made available on desktops the following year.

However, a Google representative told Search Engine Land that the tool will remain available on desktops. In the upcoming months, mobile devices will no longer have access to the feature. The precise timetable for it has not yet been made public.

Search results will no longer be displayed continuously; instead, Google will switch to a page system that requires users to navigate to the next page in order to view more results. The "Next" button at the bottom of the page will be used for this. According to the report, users of mobile devices will be able to view more results for their search by clicking the "More results" button located at the bottom of the search result page.

Why does Google no longer display continuous search results? As to the report, this modification in the search result will enable the corporation to provide quicker and more pertinent search results for a greater number of queries, rather than overwhelming consumers with the results they have specifically requested.

How users will be impacted? Because it varies from user to user, this can be a little adjustment. Nevertheless, the ongoing search results are disappearing from the results page. The fundamental features of Google Search remain unchanged, as do the search results.
