CloudTV Unveils Connected TV Advertising Platform with Magnite Partnership
India-first Certified Smart TV Operating System (OS) brand, CloudTV, has introduced an augmented new platform in connected TV (CTV) advertising, paving the way to a revolution in the growth of digital advertising in the country. The company has also partnered with Magnite, the largest independent sell side advertising company in the world to scale its reach into its vast CTV footprint which is covering more than 12 million devices in India.
Through superior programmatic execution of Magnite, including SpringServe, the new platform provides brands and advertisers an effective tool to reach high-value audiences in premium environments. The partnership hopes to ride on the CTV boom in India, which is projected to surge 27 percent year-on-year in 2025 with around 150 million active smart TVs in the country with end users spending more than 40 hours per month using the gadgets.

Harshad Wadivkar, Business Head of Monetisation at CloudTV, emphasized the platform's potential, stating, “Connected-TV advertising is redefining how brands engage with audiences. CloudTV Ads is designed to maximize brand visibility with measurable impact, leveraging this dynamic shift in consumer behavior.” The platform supports programmatic features like Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals, Private Marketplace (PMP) access, and real-time bidding, catering to brands, agencies, and media buyers.
CloudTV created a specific stakeholder site where interested parties were able to view inventory, audience data, and partnership opportunities to assist in facilitating this growth. The step reflects the intention of the company to fill in the demand-supply cabinet on the young markets of CTV advertising in India, capturing the gradually aging younger audiences and more rapidly moving to streaming big screens.
