Chaava Crosses 500 Crore: 2nd Highest Week 2 Grosser?
The Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna starrer Chhaava wrapped up its second week on a high note, maintaining its position as the top choice for moviegoers despite the release of new films and ongoing ones.
The biographical war drama earned Rs 13.60 crore on its second Friday, bringing its total to Rs 411.46 crore. With Rs 186.18 crore in its second week, Chhaava has now become the second highest Week 2 grosser of all time, surpassing major blockbusters like Animal, Gadar 2, Stree 2, Baahubali 2, and others, only behind Pushpa 2.

The impressive momentum of Chhaava strongly suggests that it could soon reach the Rs 500 crore mark. Moreover, with no major releases in the first week of March, the film has a good opportunity to even surpass Rs 600 crore.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, known for his work in Mimi, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, and Luka Chuppi, the film Chhaava is inspired by the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's son, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film stars Divya Dutta, Diana Penty, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Ashutosh Rana, Kiran Karmarkar, Sarang Sathaye, Suvrat Joshi, Ankit Anil Sharma, Shubhankar Ekbote, Shivraj Walvekar, Akshay Anand Kohli, Rakesh Theraja, and Neil Bhoopalam, among others. The legendary AR Rahman has composed the film's music.
