The iconic Indian television drama Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is set to feature an unexpected guest: Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates.

According to reports, Gates will appear virtually in a three-episode arc, engaging in a video call with actor-turned-politician Smriti Irani.

The storyline will focus on raising awareness about maternal and newborn health, aligning with the mission of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

A production source revealed that the collaboration aims to leverage the show’s massive reach to promote health and social awareness through compelling storytelling. “Smriti Irani wanted to use the platform to address critical issues while keeping the drama intact,” the source told .

The show, known for its blend of entertainment and social messaging, previously featured TV veterans Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar.
