Battlefield 6 Launches Worldwide Today: Here's When You Can Play

The wait is finally over for gaming fans as Battlefield 6 launches today, October 10, bringing heart-pounding action to players everywhere at the same time.

Developed by Electronic Arts (EA), this latest chapter in the iconic first-person shooter series is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

It’s one of the most exciting game releases of 2025, and players are ready to jump into the chaos.

EA has made sure everyone gets a fair shot by skipping early access for premium editions, letting all players start together.

“Battlefield 6 is all about bringing our community together, and we’re thrilled for everyone to experience it at once,” an EA spokesperson said.'

The game’s beta earlier this year showed off incredible destruction effects, dynamic weather, and epic 128-player battles, which have had gamers buzzing on social media and forums ever since.

Players could start pre-loading the game on October 3 at 8:30 PM IST through the EA App, Steam, or console stores, though Epic Games Store users will need to wait a little longer for access. Steam players can dive in without extra software, but an EA account is still required. If you’re on the Epic Games Store, you’ll need the full EA App to play. As servers go live today, here’s when you can jump in, based on your time zone (all on October 10 unless noted): San Francisco (PDT) at 8:00 AM, New York (EDT) at 11:00 AM, London (BST) at 4:00 PM, New Delhi (IST) at 8:30 PM, Mexico City (CST) at 9:00 AM, São Paulo (BRT) at 12:00 PM, Paris (CEST) at 5:00 PM, Tokyo (JST) at 12:00 AM on October 11, and Sydney (AEST) at 1:00 AM on October 11.

EA Play Pro subscribers get instant access to the premium Phantom Edition, but the main game is open to all players. Later this month, a free-to-play battle royale mode set in the same intense world will launch, giving even more ways to enjoy the game. The post-launch content is already looking exciting, with Season 1: Rogue Ops dropping on October 28. It brings a foggy new map called Blackwell Fields, new weapons, and a thrilling 4v4 mode called Strikepoint.

More updates are coming soon after. On November 18, California Resistance introduces the urban Eastwood map and an 8v8 Sabotage mode. Then, on December 9, Winter Offensive delivers the festive Empire State map along with a special holiday event.
