WhatsApp Adds One-minute Audio Status Updates
Users must make sure that both their iOS and Android devices are running the most recent version of WhatsApp in order to benefit from the longer recording length.
With its latest expansion of the Status function, the well-known messaging app allows users to express themselves more freely using voice.
WhatsApp users may now finally remove the 30-second time limit on voice notes submitted on their Status updates as of right now. The most recent app update includes a much-requested feature: the ability to record and send audio messages up to one minute long.
This upgrade is akin to one that was previously implemented for video status updates, enabling more detailed and expressive updates without the need for workarounds.
Users must make sure that both their iOS and Android devices are running the most recent version of WhatsApp in order to benefit from the longer recording length. Significantly, the upgraded app is also needed in order to hear these extended voice statuses.
This upgrade demonstrates WhatsApp's ongoing commitment to improving the Status function and raises the possibility of even more upcoming updates. What about lengthier vids or even interactive features? Time will tell!
