Vivo Unveils its First Foldable Phone, X Fold3 Pro, in India; Check Prices and Features

The Vivo X Fold3 Pro, the company's first foldable smartphone, has debuted in India. The business offers a number of foldable-screen phones, but they are all limited to the Chinese market. Since April of this year, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro has also been offered in China. It has triple rear cameras with the Zeiss name and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. An 8.03-inch AMOLED inner screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz is included on the Vivo X Fold3Pro.

Features and Details

The Vivo X Fold3 Pro has a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display and an 8.03-inch AMOLED inner screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, both of which support Dolby Vision and HDR10. The screen-to-body ratios of the cover screen and main screen are, respectively, 90.92 percent and 91.77 percent.

The phone has a triple rear camera configuration supported by Zeiss. A 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 64MP telephoto sensor with 3x zoom, and a 50MP primary sensor with OIS make up the camera configuration. The 32MP selfie camera is located on both the inner and cover displays. 

The gadget has 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. According to Vivo, the phone has a carbon fiber hinge that can withstand 100 folds per day for more than 12 years. It is water and dust resistant, with an IPX8 rating.

With a 5,700mAh battery inside, the gadget can charge at 100W wired and 50W wirelessly.

For authentication, the phone contains a fingerprint sensor. It is water and dust resistant, with an IPX8 rating. A 5,700mAh lithium battery that supports 50W wireless and 100W cable charging powers the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. When unfurled, the dimensions are 159.96x142.4x5.2 mm and the weight is 236 grams.

Price and Availability

The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro costs Rs 1,59,999 and is offered in Celestial Black. Sales begin on June 13 and pre-booking is available on the Vivo India website, Amazon, and Flipkart.
