Vikram Sakhuja of Madison Media Honored with AAAI Lifetime Award
The Association of Advertising Agencies of India (AAAI) has given the Lifetime Achievement Award to Vikram Sakhuja, group CEO of Madison Media & OOH.
Sakhuja has considerably contributed to the industry with 38 years of experience in marketing, Media and advertising.
Since taking the post of Global Strategy Development Officer at GroupM, Vikram Sakhuja has become the Global CEO of Maxus Worldwide, GroupM CEO - South Asia, as well as CEO at Mindshare South Asia.
He also occupies various positions in industry associations and has been recently appointed vice-chairman of Media Research Users Council of India (MRUC).
"When I look at the list of 31 recipients before me, it's genuinely humbling because they were all legends," Sakhuja said on being chosen for the award. "I am a mere mortal. That said, it is absolutely brilliant to receive this validation from my peers."
Sakhuja also serves as chairman of the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) tech committee, the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) tech committee and the Indian Broadcasting & Digital Foundation (IBDF)-AAAI sub-committee.
He currently serves as the co-chairman of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) Council of Management, plays an active role as a member of the prestigious AAAI Board, and is a former president of the renowned Ad Club Bombay, contributing significantly to the advertising industry throughout his career.
