Uber Rolls Out Luxury Motorhomes in Delhi NCR for a Limited Time
Uber has boosted its Intercity service, now covering over 3,000 routes across India—a 50% jump in city-to-city connections.
To spice things up, they’re launching custom-built Motorhomes in Delhi NCR for a short stint from August 7 to September 6. Starting August 4, folks can book these through a special icon in the Uber app, perfect for those craving a comfy road trip.
These Motorhomes, designed for 4–5 passengers, are like a mini-home on wheels. Think TV, onboard bathroom, microwave, and a small fridge for snacks.
A driver and assistant handle the ride, making it smooth with perks like pre-booking via Uber’s Reserve feature, real-time tracking, stops along the way, and round-the-clock customer support.
Shweta Mantri, Uber India’s Head of Rider Verticals, said, “Uber Intercity has seen strong traction in India, inspiring us to launch Motorhomes as a pilot in Delhi NCR for road trips and family vacations.”

With better highways and more people hitting the road for leisure or essential travel, Uber’s cashing in on the trend. Top routes last year included Mumbai-Pune, Delhi-Agra, Bengaluru-Mysuru, Lucknow-Kanpur, and Ahmedabad-Vadodara. Bookings spiked during festivals like Diwali, Holi, and Eid, especially on Fridays in the early morning or mid-afternoon.
